Volunteers

Volunteers are an integral part of any Rugby Club. Parents, friends, family, and community members, as well as players from the Sacramento Men’s RFC and the California Bald Eagles (the “Old Boys”) frequently support HS clubs in some of the following ways:

Creating and running the Lancer RFC Booster Club
Working at and creating Fund Raisers
Volunteering as a certified CPR First Aid “Medic” at games
Driving players to away matches
Cleaning the team uniforms (the whole lot stays together)
Checking the field and setting it up pre match
Cleaning up the field after the match and After Match function
Serving food at the After Match function
Helping with finding sponsors, advertisers, and donors
Making the new players and visitors feel at home
Holding and organizing gatherings for the team
Creating a team blog or newsletter
Keeping track of player stats
Team Water Carrier
Team Paper Work
