I began playing rugby in with Dan Rose 1983 for the first Lancer Rugby Club. This was the first year that I saw rugby in Sacramento at the high school club level. There were about 6 or 8 teams playing at that time. I then graduated in 1985 and played some rugby for the Sac Men's Club I took some time off and went in to the Army.
When I came back I played for the men's club up until I was 35 yrs old and then moved over to the Sac Old Boys Teams (S.O.B.’S).
